| Dan and Ruth slept late, hungover, so Claire and Dodo went ahead to the beach (late, 10:00?) |
| Lovely beach. The near one, with the restaurants. And Dan and Ruth joined them, and fended off fruitsellers, but Claire and Dan lost at tic-tac-toe (the ladyboy selling scarves may have cheated at tic-tac-toe with hungover Dan) and had to buy scarves. The tide was so high, it washed right under our tables and over our sandals. |
| Dinner at the restaurant on the beach. Drank half the bottle of dark Bacardi with Cokes. Dan still feeling ill, was unable to finish much of his meal. Then, back up to Mick and Craig's for lots of Bacardi and Cokes, and Craig's monologues, and the Insane Man ranting to his invisible cohorts at the other table. |
